But today, as we stand here all I am grateful for is the unconditional love, affection that I have received from the girls, their families and the viewers who now see me as a family member. I will always be thankful to Colors Tamil and team for all their efforts towards finding my life partner. It has been an overwhelming journey, something that has helped me grow and understand the values of human emotions. Through all of this the girls have stood by me, my decision and they have trusted me, which I will certainly value for life.”

The 82 day long journey began in the month of February, with 16 participants contesting to win the hands of Tamil Nadu’s most eligible bachelor, Arya. From surprising Agatha with a visit to Taj Mahal to pottery lessons with Abharnathi, the show witnessed many special moments. Post a series of tasks, special times and numerous token of love Susanna, Agatha and Seethalakshmi made it to the finale.

“Whilst I have short listed Susana, Agatha and Seetha and visited their house to interact with parents and family members, I still feel it is important that I spend more time with these three girls on a personal level before making a final decision as it is not just about my life but involves parents and family members from both the sides. I will surely reveal my soulmate name very soon” added Actor Arya.

Acknowledging the actor’s decision, all three finalists graciously accepted to spend more time with the actor off camera and take a decision. Susanna, who flew all the way from Canada to win Arya’s hands and also a contestant to win most number of token of love, said “I understand the situation that Arya stands at this juncture. If there is one thing I have observed about him in this journey, it is how kind he is. So, this must be highly pressuring and I completely respect his decision today.”

Agreeing with Susanna, one of the strongest contestants of the show, Agatha said “Arya has been kind and honest to all the contestants throughout this journey. He is emotionally attached to all of us and it is indeed a tough decision to take. I understand his decision and completely respect the need for more time. I am proud of him for being honest with us and taking this big step.”

Seethalakshmi, without winning any token of love made it to finals with her charm and grace. Commenting on his decision, Seetha said “This moment is tougher for Arya than us. I respect his decision and all I want to tell him is that, we will continue to be good friends for life, there is no doubt in that.”
