The 25-year-old Chimanga, who has performed a few times in India, will return to Express Avenue Chennai on June 17th from 6.30 PM onward, performing with his quartet. The music is marked by a unique and pure African sound created out of Chimanga’s virtuous marimba Playing, lead vocals and energetic entertainer talent while Elisha Zimbeva (keys & mbira), Igiel Njolomah (bass) and Tulani Kuwani (sax & guitar) keep the heavy pulsating rhythm together with blessing Muparutsa (drums & percussion).

Blessing Chimanga is a talented and passionate musician who plays 3 instruments namely drums, Marimba and Percussion. He is also a music director, arranger, songwriter and singer. Blessing started his professional music career in 2006 in Zimbabwe.
