Cinépolis to‘Live Screen’ the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 in its Theatres

Cinépolis, India’s first international and world’s second-largest movie theatre chain in attendance, has acquired the rights to a live broadcast of the knockout matches of FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. With this initiative, Cinépolis India becomes the first exhibitor to celebrate and showcase the football fever on the big screen in India. This partnershipwill go a long way inreplicating the spirit& ambience of an actual football stadium,thus deliveringgreat news for all the football enthusiasts.

The screenings would allow people who share the great passion and love for football, regardless of any social background, to come together to interact, watch and celebrate the last leg of the tournament across select Cinepolis properties. With the world’s attention bearing down on this single championship moment, the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 will be showcased in 15 Cinépolis theatres across Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Guwahati on 101large screens. The result – amazing, larger than life visuals and a stadium-like feel in a fan-filled auditorium.

 

Whether you’re a fan of Team Argentina, Brazil, England, Germany, France, Portugal, or any team, all football fans will realize that theatres aren’t just for movies anymore.
