LIBA collaborates with Virginia Tech India to launch Business Analytics PG Program in Chennai

First of its kind postgraduate course invites applications to create game changers

Chennai, 3rd July, 2018: Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai has for the first time associated itself with Virginia Tech India Research and Education Forum and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) USA to invite applications for its upcoming batch of PG Program in Business Analytics (PGPBA) which kick starts in August 2018. The program specifically aimed to create game changers in the industry is now accepting applications from students and working professionals.

The PGPBA course is designed by industry academia collaboration and offers a global business perspective rich in opportunities and expertise. The faculty has over 30 years experience in decision theory, artificial intelligence, databases, and enterprise computing from the schools of business, engineering, computer science and science. Under the yearlong program, students will earn a Virginia Tech certificate in business analytics, designed to prepare them for careers in government or industries that operate in big-data environments.

Candidates applying must be equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, IT, IS or Business, Commerce. GRE, GMAT, CAT or other standardised scores are desirable but not essential. Evidence of 2 years’ experience in an IT related field is preferable. Certified transcripts from the applicant’s UG program is also a necessity.
