Chennai: Barbeque Nation, one of the most successful casual dining restaurant chains in India, has now opened its gates for diners in Porur. Chennai’s Seventh Barbeque Nation is situated at 2nd floor, Survey no-38, 1 Mount Poonamalle high road Porur. Barbeque Nation’s 116th outlet in India & 122nd Internationally was inaugurated by NGO Kids.
Foodies in the evergreen city can now experience the joy of grilling their own vegetarian and non-vegetarian barbeques on live grills, embedded on the tables at the restaurant. The new outlet can seat and serve over 140 guests.The restaurant has been carefully designed keeping in mind the heritage and the philosophy of Barbeque Nation. It sports a brand orange logo, with a crown atop the brand name. The look and feel is a fresh take on traditional Barbeque Nation with changes in colour schemes, seating arrangement, ambience, and uniforms of service executives to create a modern and upbeat atmosphere at the outlet.
Barbeque Nation pioneered ‘DIY’ (do-it-yourself) cuisine with a concept of live on-the-table grill, and is the largest casual dining brand in the country. The restaurant offers a pre-fixed menu with a fixed price. The menu is drawn from Mediterranean, American, Oriental, Asian and Indian cuisines.Customers can grill starters in a range of marinades and sauces and enjoy them right off the skewers, on their tables.
The eat-all-you-can buffet at Barbeque Nation showcases an array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian main course meals and soups. The famous starters menu will include Mushlika Chicken Tikka, Capper Pepper Grill Fish, Angaara Tangdi, Mutton Masala Seekh, Cilantro Fish and Lemon Herbs Prawn for the non-vegetarians and for the vegetarians Tandoori Paneer Tikka, the in house special Cajun Spice Potato, Honey ChilliPineappleamongothers.The Porur outlet will offer different types desserts-like the famous kulfi live counter, brownies, ice cream and fresh fruits.
