WIB introduces UK’s celebrated Millie’s Cookies to Tamil Nadu

~Opens its two stores in Chennai~

Chennai, December, 2018: After successfully capturing the palettes of food lovers in Delhi,
UK’s favourite cookies brand, Millie’s Cookies is now entering the Chennai Market. World Iconic Brands, a Franchise India Holdings-owned subsidiary has acquired the master franchise rights of the cookie brand and will be helping in expansion of the business. Company announced opening of 2 outlets in Phoenix Market City and V R Mall on 7th December and 8th December in the presence of Actor, Harish Kalyan and Dr. J Srinisha, Chairman Rela hospitals and Sree Balaji Medical College.


For more than three decades, Millie’s has been baking fresh, chewy, soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside cookies every day. It specializes in gourmet cookies, muffins, milkshakes and hot drinks. USP of the brand is Giant Cookie, which is going to capture the market as replacement of traditional cake with enticing hero products –Nutella Pizza,Cookie Pop, Cookie Sandwich which are baked under the direction of Celebrity Chef and Culinary Director for Millie’s, Shaun Kenworthy.
Speaking on the launch, Dr. N Kannan, Area Developer, Chennai said, “I am delighted to be a part of this popular brand. Millie’s has been a celebrated brand in UK and has been baking cookies past three decades, I was familiar with the brand so it was a great opportunity for me to introduce the brand in Chennai when WIB proposed brand expansion. Chennai’s culture is particularly diverse from that of any other city in India and I am sure the brand will be welcomed with big heart by the sweet lovers. One can find an exclusive assortment of culture from traditional to gourmet desserts. Other brands bake and tin their products in factories hours and hours prior to supplying them to the stores but at Millie’s, cookies are baked at the stores itself, which will be attracting sweet lovers for sure.”
