Director Karu Palaniappan unveiled the theme “An Era of Disruption”
Chennai, January 2019: Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), one of India’s leading premier B-School today launched the theme of CHRYSALIS 2019 – “An Era of Disruption”. The theme was launched by Mr. Karu Palaniappan, Tamil Film Director and Fr. P Christie SJ, Director, LIBA in the presence of faculty members and students of LIBA. Additionally, the launch also saw the commencement of #RightToVote campaign. The CHRYSALIS 2019 brochure was flown with drone assistance to the chief guest following which the theme was launched.
CHRYSALIS is a two day management event comprising of numerous activities conducted by the Academic and Non-Academic clubs of LIBA scheduled on 2nd and 3rd February 2019 at LIBA campus.
Sharing his academic experience Mr. Karu Palaniappan said college events provide the students a platform to recognise their talent. Management events like CHRYSALIS organised by the students will help mould their organisational and leadership skills. Furthermore, he shared his insights on the importance of right to vote, understanding politics and knowing the politics behind everything. He emphasised on developing knowledge on politics so one can rightfully exercise their right to vote.
CHRYSALIS will serve as a platform for the participants to showcase their flair for managerial and extra-curricular activities through events such as Fitzest, Markthon, Best Manager, Crime Scene Investigation, FIFA and much more.
