Sicagen India appointed as ABB’s authorized dealer for switchgear products in Tamil Nadu

Sicagen joins ABB’s channel partner universe in Tamil Nadu

• Sicagen will resell the entire range of ABB’s low and medium voltage switch gears to its expansive customer base.

August,21 2019, Chennai: ABB,the global technology leader with a comprehensive offering for digital industries, has appointed Chennai headquarter Sicagen India Limited, a group company of AM International, as an authorized dealer for switchgear products in the state of Tamil Nadu. Sicagen will resell ABB’s low and medium voltage switchgear products to its customers across the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

Sicagen’s keen understanding of ABB’s product technology and its deep dealer and distributor network across the state led to this association. Moreover, ABB’s decision was prompted by Sicagen’s industry-leading reputation, high-end infrastructure and competence to handle high-value orders.

As a channel partner, Sicagen will deal with the entire range of ABB’s low and medium voltage switchgear products on a non-exclusive basis. These include miniature circuit breakers (MCB), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), and contractors, among others. Sicagen will market these products to its expansive customer base comprising of manufacturing industries, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and selective panel builders.
