Chennai, March 27, 2017: JK Tyre & Industries Limited, pioneer of radial technology in India, today launched its state of the art ‘JK Truck Wheels Centre’ and ‘JK Retread Centre’ at Attur, Karur. It is the 30th Truck wheels showroom, and 12th Retread centre in the country, and is in line with the company’s plans to expand its network all across the country. The centre is well equipped and is technically advanced to provide ‘Total Solutions’ to all tyre and wheel related needs of trucks and buses. The showroom “Loyal Auto World” was inaugurated by Mr. AK Badhwar, General Manager – Retread Business, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd.
The new Truck Wheels and Retread showroom will be equipped to provide the best tyre care solutions to truck and bus owners. Karur is one of the important Transport hubs in Southern zone of the country. The location of Truck Wheels cum JK Retread centre at Karur is such that it serves as an essential transport point and connects two national highways- NH-47 (Kashmir to Kanyakumari) and NH-67 (Nagapattinam to Gudalur).
Strategically located on the Karur- Erode state highway, the new showroom is spread over an area of around 7000+ square feet and is equipped with best-in-class Wheel aligner, Automatic Tyre changer, greasing pumps, and Pneumatic tools set, and latest Retreading and Repairing infrastructure to ensure end-to-end truck and bus tyre care. Company will be providing value added services to its customers and educate them on the advantages of retreading through JK Recommended Retread practice, for increasing tyre life and reducing cost per km (CPKM).
Mr. AK Badhwar, General Manager – Retread Business, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd inaugurated the centre, and said, “KARUR is one of the oldest town and District about 370km south west of Chennai and is well connected to Coimbatore, Chennai, Madurai, cochin, Pondy, Salem, Bangalore, and hence we believe the centre will be a success.” He added, “This Centre underlines JK Tyre’s efforts to provide total tyre solution to this large customer base.”
The company last year has achieved the landmark of selling 10 million Truck and Bus radials on Indian roads. Mr. AK Badhwar said, “JK Tyre is the pioneer of Radials in the country and is committed towards bringing the best of products and services. This initiative is another step in providing one stop tyre related services to the customers.”

JK Retread Centre is a new initiative of JK Tyre where customers will experience a quality solution after the first life of their tyres and will continue to enjoy better quality of services with JK Tyre. This is 12th JK Retread Centre across the country but first centre having JK Truck Wheels and JK Retread centre under one roof.
