Velammal Main school, Mogappair Under 19 Boys Basketball Team took part in the Basketball Tournament organized by Ponjesly College of Engineering, Nagercoil held between 20th & 23rd April 2017. Around 18 schools in and around the state took part in the tournament and our school U-19 Boys Basketball team emerged victorious and bagged the Ponjesly Trophy. The objective of the tournament was to bring out the latent talents of the students in sports and games.
