Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur Distributors Theater Owners Association Emergency General Body Meeting presides by Mr. Kannappan. 150 Theater Owners were participated in this meeting and many resolutions passed in this meeting.

Resolutions:

Actor Vishal announced with out knowledge of Tami Nadu Theater Owners that Online service charges will be cut down from Rs.30 to Rs.10. We object this statement of Actor Vishal’s and it is not be followed.

In future film distribution is like Percentage basis not in minimum Guaranteed basis. Distributors bought huge amount in  minimum Guaranteed basis and suffered a lot. So, decided that film distribution as Percentage basis.

More Resolutions is given request to Tamil Nadu Government:

From 01-07-2017  GST Act applicable in Tamil Nadu Theaters. We also forced our Theater Owner Members must have GST Act who all are not having GST Act we are not allow them to do business.

Tamil Nadu Theater Tickets rates not increased from past 11 years since 2006 there is no changes in ticket rates and we are getting same amount. Nowadays Cost of living, Maintenance Charges, Employee Salary, Electric bill Charges and Etc…, rates became very high. So, Theater Tickets Rates have to increase.

Nowadays Employee Salary, Electric bill Charges, Maintenance Charges is very high. So, increase the Maintenance Charges high like a other states.

Stop New Films Telecast in Local Televisions and save Tamil Nadu Theaters.

These request is submitted to Tamil Nadu Government.
