Miss R. Vaishali of Velammal Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Mugappair, Chennai – 37 won the Gold Medal in Asian Continental Women’s Blitz Chess Championship 2017 organised by Asian Chess Federation conducted between 12th May 2017 and 21st May 2017 held at Chengudu, China.
Out of 9 rounds she has scored 8 points and won the gold Medal.
She has also won Bronze Medal in Asian Chess Championship (Classical Category).
56 participants from 17 countries took part in the tournament.
