Chennai, 04 August 2017: ESAF Small Finance Bank, the newly launched Small Finance Bank opens a new branch in Poomalaikundu, Theni district. The Bank had already started its operations in Tamil Nadu by opening branches in Thuneri and Nilgiri. The bank which is the first ever Private scheduled bank in Kerala post-independence has already established fully functional 12 branches in various places in Kerala.

Poomalaikundu branch was inaugurated by Thankamali thevar, Dharmapuri village leader. The cash counter inauguration by Dharmapuri Councilor A Krishnaswami followed by the inauguration of Safe Locker by Poomalaikundu panchayath President M Chandrashekhar. Dharmapuri Panchayath presidents K Chinna Alagar, Village leader N Kalimuthu, ESAF Small Finance Bank Retail Liability Head N SwamiNathan were also present during the occasion. ESAF will provide services like Doorstep Banking, ATM and E- commerce services.
