‘Chennai Vizha’ an awareness programme was organized in Velammal Main School on 22nd August, 2017. This programme was hosted to make the students know about the antiquity and historical importance of Chennai, an ancient 2000 years old city. The Chief Guest was Mr. R. Rangaraj President, Madras Reporters guild. He briefed about the History, Culture and civilization of this 2000 year old Chennai. The programme was very informative and beneficial to our students.
