P.U.Chitra “Queen of Asia in the Mile” visited the campus to motivate the promising athletes of the school.

Velammal has always taken great tramp in identifying child’s maximum enriching and the hidden talents. It offer a tremendous to expands students potentials in indoor as well as outdoor games.

P.U.Chitra, the young athlete of Kerala left everyone inspired with her outstanding performance when she struck gold for Women’s 1500 M track event in 22nd Asian Athletics Championship 2017 in Bhubaneswar. P.U.Chitra soars high above all limitations numerous National accolades.

The guest was welcomed by Head Mistress Amirthakala and Honored by Uma Maheshwari, Principal, Velammal Bodhi Campus. A small Programme was presented by students in the honorof the valuable guest P.U.Chitra, then honored the achievers who have engraved their names in different track and field events, Road Running, Race Walking and Mile Run.

P.U.Chitra gave an inspirational speech amidst the students that ignited the young minds and rejoindered social and physical skill. It also teaches to adapt to different suituation and it keeps them alert, achieve and highly energetic.
