Chennai, October 2017: Madras Curry Cup, the new-age food brand that’s taken the online food ordering market by storm with its traditional, home-style South Indian fares, is breaking ground with a new concept restaurant that offers both veg and non-veg cuisines prepared in separate kitchens. The fast-casual, one-of-a-kind restaurant located in Gemini Parsn Complex, Nungambakkam, was inaugurated by Tamil Cinema Actor Karthi.

Madras Curry Cup, open all days from 11 am to 11 pm, is a cozy air-conditioned 17-seater, 450 sqft space that provides a comfortable, feel-at-home experience, while the customers get the unique experience and happiness of handpicking their meal.


‘’At MCC, we offer our customers a unique experience and the happiness of hand picking their meal. When a food lover enters this concept restaurant, he/she will be presented with a refreshing wet towel and piping hot rasam. Enjoying the Rasam of the day, customers can customize their Curry Cup with the available bases like Mini Idly, Idiyappam, White Rice, Brown Rice, Kuli Panniyaram, Kuduraivali, etc, add some of our signature curries and then top it off with veggies/ proteins to balance their diet and select add on’s to finally complete their cup,” said Mr. Sastharam Ravendran, Founder, Madras Curry Cup. Sastharam with his friends, Samrat and Aashish run Madras Curry Cup with a novel idea to ensure that they transcend all socio-economic platforms and take the Curry Cups to people from all the strata of the society.

Madras Curry Cup brings the Old Flavors of Madras alive with its signature dishes like Mutton Kola Urundai, Keerai Kozhambu, Parupu Urundai Kozhambu, Vadacurry, Karandi Omelette, Poori Laddu, and Sun Urundai coupled with sides like Gobi 65, Vendakka Thayir Pachchadi and thirst quenchers like rose milk and badam milk, all of this to strike a perfect balance for a nutritious and complete diet, Homestyle Revived.
