Chennai, 1st November 2017: Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) conducted its Annual Graduation Day 2017 on 29th October 2017 with Mr. M. Mahadevan, Chairman, Oriental Cuisines Pvt. Ltd as the Chief Guest of the function.  On this day, 202 LIBA students consisting of one year Executive Diploma Programme received their diplomas in various disciplines of management. Medals were awarded to academic toppers for their remarkable achievements across different programmes.

 Addressing the graduates, Mr. M. Mahadevan, Chairman, Oriental Cuisines Pvt. Ltd said, “I congratulate all the graduating students of LIBA. This is a very significant phase in your life as your decisions will impact your career path. I would like to take this opportunity to inspire all of you to become entrepreneur as India needs more entrepreneurs. If everyone graduating today starts working, then who will provide jobs. So be an entrepreneur and prepare yourself to be a job giver. You should always be thinking differently, do not follow what others do. Be a leader, lead the nation and be an entrepreneur. Thank you Fr.Christie for giving me this chance to come here and share my experience with the students about entrepreneurship and how much India needs it, I would be really happy even if ten of you get inspired and be an entrepreneur.”

 Commenting on the occasion, Fr. P.Christie SJ, Director – LIBA, said, “It gives me immense pleasure to witness yet another batch of students successfully receiving their certificates. We offer this programme mainly to help those who cannot spend two or three years in a post graduate course to equips themselves professionally in various functional areas”.
