Velammal Main school, Mogappair Under 17 Boys took part in the 60th Republic Day Games held between 28th and 30th October, 2017 in Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai and were the proud recipients of Gold Medal organized by Government of School Education, Tamil Nadu.
Around 17 teams across the state took part in this tournament and our school Basketball boys Under 17 Team played the final match against SDAT ( Tirunelveli) and defeated them with a score of 75-49.
Master Soorya , Class X was adjudged the best player.
The Management applauds the remarkable achievement of our students and wishes them good luck for their future endeavours.
