Mumbai based Jassi Sandhu, is the new, up-and-coming name to watch out for in Indian Contemporary Art. The budding artist launches her first solo exhibition on 7th December, 2017 at the Taj Art Gallery – The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, in Colaba. Jassi’s work showcases an innovative approach based on mixed themes; encompassing those of mythology, folk art, and an assemblage of various material and textures.
Her paintings are of surreal quality and are inspired from age old scriptural writings, and ancient mythological figures from old temples and monuments. The debutante artist is sure to charm all, with her unique and unconventional oeuvre.
