On account of the ‘World day for the Prevention of Child Abuse’ , the students of Velammal Mogappair campus paid a visit to V3 JJ Nagar Police Station on 23rd November, 2017. During their visit, the police personnel made them aware of the duties and responsibilities of the police and functioning of the police station. Students were also demonstrated how to handle the riffles, pistols etc., by Thirumangalam Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Kamal Basha, J.J. Nagar Inspector of Police Mr. Murugesan and Thirumangalam Traffic Inspector Mr. Edison Santhakumar. Students were accompanied by their teachers.
