Avid runners can register online for all the four categories which include; 42.2K Full Marathon (Minimum Age – 18 as on 3rd Feb 2018), 21.1K Half Marathon (Minimum Age – 18 as on 3rd Feb 2018), Timed 10K (Minimum Age – 14 as on 3rd Feb 2018) and 5K Hope Run (All Minors must be accompanied by Adults). The fees for all categories varies; with Full Marathon at Rs 1550/-, Half Marathon at Rs 1350/-, Timed 10K at Rs 850/– and 5K Hope Run at Rs 650/-.
Speaking on the announcement of the 2nd edition, Karthik Raman, CMO, IDBI Federal Life Insurance said, “Kolkata is an important market for us and we are truly proud of our association with the city. We are thrilled to host the second edition of IDBI Federal Life Insurance Kolkata Full Marathon and engage Kolkatans with the message of health and fitness. With the tremendous response we received in our previous edition, we are confident of greater participation from Kolkata.”

Face of the event, Sachin Tendulkar said, “It is my vision is to see every Indian fit and healthy. I am looking forward to being back in Kolkata, the energy and turnout witnessed last year was exhilarating. I am hoping to see more participation from Kolkata in the IDBI Federal Life Insurance Marathon this year, which eclipses last year’s turnout. Come on Kolkata! Chalo Shobai, Chalo Dourai!”

The race day run and Training Runs are being organized at different locations by IDBI Federal Life Insurance along with NEB Sports to spread the awareness of running and motivate people to participate in the upcoming marathon.
The winner of the 3rd edition of the IDBI Federal Life Insurance Kolkata Full Marathon will be awarded prize money of Rs. 10 Lakhs across various categories. Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar is also the face of the event for the IDBI Federal Life Insurance Marathons across New Delhi, Kochi and Mumbai.
