Inviting aspiring singers to submit a personalized version of the famous ‘Velikizhamai’ jingle
Chennai, 6th December: Meera provides a platform for aspiring singers to recreate their own version of the well-known jingle ‘Vellikizhamai’. Taking everyone back in time, household herbal hair care brand Meera today announced the launch of ‘Meera Rock and Raagam’ contest for aspiring singers. Meera invites amateur singers to recreate the famous jingle, Velikizhamai with a twist and post it on Meera’s official Facebook page. Winners of this contest stand a chance to be part of the background score in Meera’s upcoming advertisements and also get an opportunity to win gold coins.
Participants should present a renewed version of the jingle with a personalized touch blending it with any genre of music. The song must be recorded in audio visual format and file should be uploaded in audio or video format. Apps like Musical.ly and In Shot can be used in enhancing one’s videos.
Interested participants can send/ post their video entries on Meera’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page with the hash tag #MeeraRockandRaagam and tag @WorldOfMeera. The last day for submitting entries is on 14th January 2018.
