PV Sindhu Debuts for Panasonic Batteries in their latest TVC

December 13, 2017, Chennai: Panasonic Energy India Co. Ltd recently launched of its new TVC for alkaline batteries featuring brand ambassador PV Sindhu. The campaign highlights the long lasting ability of Panasonic alkaline batteries and the superior performance as compared to ordinary zinc batteries.

Objective of the Campaign

The 360 degree campaign named ‘Robot’, aims at drawing consumer attention to the dynamism one needs in order to win any game in life. The notion is visually represented by PV Sindhu, who initially with the failed assistance of ordinary zinc carbon battery, was unable to overpower a robot in a game of badminton. But, soon upon being energised by Panasonic battery she finds herself in control of Panasonic battery which is the long lasting than ordinary Zinc carbon battery, which enables her to defeat the robot.

Approach

The Panasonic battery TVC is meant for all those who aim to be on top of their game. These alkaline batteries are high calibre, reliable products that can cater to high power demands of today’s electronic goods.

 Film Descriptor

The TVC opens with PV Sindhu equipping herself with a robotic arm powered by an ordinary zinc carbon battery. In the next scene, we witness her competing against an android robot, withholding the supreme power possessed by Panasonic batteries. The power packed game gets interrupted when PV Sindhu falls down due to the drained battery in her arm.

 In the second sequence, her coach presents her with a Panasonic battery as a replacement for the previously drained cell. Now powered with a superior battery, Sindhu is able to overpower the robot and defeats him at the end.
