Extra Curricular Activity Year Long Program Winter Sports Camp was held at Velammal on 06.01.2018 in its Mugappair Campus for students from Std III to Std VIII. Premier coaching was given to excel in fitness, meditation and talent coaching. New techniques were introduced to bring out their potential in the field of athletics, volley ball and kho-kho in order to motivate the good sportsmanship among the student. Recent changes in rules and regulations were also discussed.

The premier coaching was given by Mr. Sakthivel Indian Railway player and Tamil Nadu coach, Mr. Karunakaran Indian Kho Kho player, K. Sikkander Oli Raja, Indian Railway Player and Tamil Nadu coach, Ms. Radha National Athlete and Coach, Ms. Ruby Basket ball coach and Mr. Gokul Senior National Throwball player. The school organizes such activities to motivate and encourage the young players to become future icons in the field of sports. Velammal is a platform to bring in all round development of the students.
