Velammal Matric.Hr.Sec.School (Mogappair Campus) and velammal Vidyalaya ( Alapakkam campus ) have  been conferred as one of the five best schools in Tamilnadu. The school received the accolade for its exemplary service in the field of education and extra curricular activities.
