Chennai, 9th February 2018: In continuation to the 100th Birth Year celebration of yesteryear music director, Isai Chithar Shri. C S Jayaraman, a musical evening was organized in the city yesterday. The event was organized in the presence of many renowned celebrities from the music industry and laid a platform for them to exchange interesting anecdotes of their interaction with the musical Mozart.
The Chief Guest for the evening and renowned playback singer, P Susheela who shared exciting memories of working with Isai Chitthar C S Jayaraman in early days of her career. Other eminent guests for the evening included, Mr. Muktha Srinivasan, Director, Mr. Pirasoodan, Lyricist, Mr. V G Santhosam, Chairman – VGP Group and Mr. C K Ranganathan, Chairman & Managing Director – CavinKare Pvt Ltd.
The musical evening witnessed scintillating performance by Ganesh Krupa band while popular playback singers Hariharan Ananthu and Mukesh lent their voices to bring back the greatest music composed by Shri C S Jayaraman. The concert was a collection of melodious songs penned, directed and sung by Shri C S Jayaraman. The evening was hosted by Mr Abdul Hameed who shared insights and instances from Shri. C S Jayaraman’s life.
