Feb, 11: Koncept hospitals  conducted a free one day cardiology camp at kodambakkam in Chennai today. During the camp, more than 350 patients were given free consultation and treatment. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sankar the chief consultant cardiologist & director Koncept hospitals  said that heart attacks can be prevented if people lead a healthy life by avoiding smoking and alcohol.

He further added that heart attacks can be prevented by controlling diabetes and hypertension. Besides he added, many a heart attack can be prevented if people go in for annual health check up. A person may have diabetes but shows no symptoms.  He urged the patients suffering from the heart problems by implementing these kind of free medical camps and heart check-up camps, we help in early detection as well as prevention of diseases.  A team of experts under the leadership of Dr Sankar the doctors  T.S.R.Mohanaselvan, Priyanka, Harimurugan, Elakkiya examined the patients and gave medical advices.
