Equitas Small Finance Bank, the first private sector bank from Tamil Nadu post-Independence, today announced the launch of ‘Yellow Army Savings Account’ in commemoration of the official sponsorship for Chennai Super Kings.
Equitas Small Finance Bank inked a three-year deal with Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and would be the Retail Banking Partner. As part of the association, the jerseys of CSK players would carry Equitas Small Finance Bank logo on the lead arm and back of the helmet and cap.
CSK Players Dwayne Bravo and Murali Vijay unveiled the first of its kind exclusively designed Yellow Army debit card with images and illustrations of Mahindra Singh Dhoni, Suresh Raina, and Ravindra Jadeja.

Elaborating further on the benefits of the savings account, Mr. Srivastava said that the account will fetch an interest rate of 6% p.a. for balance below 10 lakhs & 6.5% p.a. interest rate on balance above 10 lakhs. The average quarterly balance requirement will be at Rs. 10,000.
The Yellow Army VISA Debit Card comes with personal accident cover of up to Rs. 5 lakhs, air accident cover of Rs. 30 lakhs, and lost Card liability up to Rs. 25,000/- which are the other benefits that come with this account. Customers can also avail exclusive offers on movie ticket booking, food, entertainment & lifestyle and earn reward points for all purchases.
The account comes with a specially designed welcome pack that would have a miniature bat, Wrist Band, Whistle and choice of VISA Signature or Platinum Debit Card with player images.
