A three days International Conference On Theoretical and Experimental Advances in Civil Engineering (ICONTEACE – 2018) from 10 to 12 May, 2018 is organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology at Kattankulathur Campus with the support of Ultratech Cement Ltd and in association with Indian Concrete Institute, The Institute of Engineering and Technology, Builders Association of India and Association of Consultants in Civil Engineering. MIDAS, Bentley, Adopter, Indian Bank, Utracon, Global Icon are the major sponsors for this Conference.

 

The conference started with a grace of invocation and followed by the welcome address by the Convener of the Conference Dr. K.S. Satyanarayanan,  Dr. T.P. Ganesan, Pro V.C (P&D) gave the presidential address. Proceedings of the conference was released by the Dignitaries and Dr. C. Muthamizhchelvan, Director (E&T) honoured all the guests. The Chief guest Dr. N. Gopalakrishnan and the Guest of Honour Mr. C.Y. Shivaji addressed the gathering by appreciating the theme of the conference and its benefits.

The Chief Guest Dr. Nithin Kumar Tripathi, Director,Special Degree Programs, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, addressed the gathering and the Vice President and Head, EDRC Residential Buildings, L&T, Mr. C.Y. Shivaji also addressed as special guest of the Conference.
