image001image003Chennai, 22nd March 2017: This Navroze, Batlivala & Khanabhoy – the award winning all-day Parsi restaurant and Café introduces an exciting expanded menu for the foodies in Chennai. The menu offers more than 25 exciting new Parsi delicacies including increased choices for vegetarians, Parsi Burgers and more.

Navroze is the time for new beginnings, a new life and a new season. Celebrated on the spring equinox, this New Year marks the first day of spring and is the most important day on the Parsi calendar. It is a day of celebration and feasting. Special care has been taken by the chef in curating this menu to also offer a number of Parsi vegetarian delicacies. An average cost for two is INR 1200/- exclusive of taxes.

Vegetarian:

  • Kuku Cauliflower: An Iranian inspired frittata filled with cauliflower, herbs, spices and cheese roasted until the dish takes on a wonderful golden hue
  • Beetroot na Pattice: Piquant beetroot stuffed potato patties coated with semolina and deep-fried
  • Papri: A heritage recipe of spiced broad beans

Non Vegetarian:

  • Methia ne Chutney ni Tareli Murghi: Boneless chicken pieces tossed with green chillies, sweet and spicy green chutney, Parsi mango pickle and a dash of coconut  milk
  • Masala nu Bhunjelu Gosht: Whole roast leg of lamb with our own signature marinade, served with its own juices and accompanied with potatoes and sautéed greens
  • Macchi athwa Colmi ni Curry: Choice of seer fish or prawns cooked in a kokum flavoured coconut curry

Parsi Burgers:

  • Cheese Eeda Cutlets Burger: An heirloom cutlet dish made using boiled eggs, cheese, green chilies and coriander held together in a creamy béchamel sauce
  • Chicken Russian Pattice Burger: Tender Pattice made with shredded chicken, potato and a

herbed béchamel sauce
