Velammal Main campus, Mugappair organized 33rd Vallal Pandi Durai Competition in commemoration of the glorified classical Tamil on 25th August, 2018.. The special guest was Dr. Bala Ramani Former Assistant Director of Doordarshan. Around 150 leading schools from Chennai took part in this grand competition. About 1200 students participated in various competitions comprising of Oratorical, Essay writing, Drawing, Singing and Dance Competition that reflected Tamil Heritage and Culture. The massive contest was conducted to the inner talents of students. Nearly 60 eminent judges were invited for various competitions to judge the performance of the participants. The winners of various competitions were announced and participation certificates were given to all students.
