As a part of Pongal celebrations of 2021, the Rotaract Club of SRM Easwari Engineering College celebrated “Pongal Festival” with elders in Annai Ullam in Kodambakkam.

With the help of elders in Annai Ullam, they prepared Pongal in our traditional way with love. Our Rotaractors then interacted with the elders and they shared their stories and purpose of celebrating Pongal.

They distributed the Pongal to everyone. They had a lot fun like singing songs and doing many other activities with the elders.

The people taking care of the Annai Ullam were so humble and kind. They made the event a fruitful experience and taught us a lot.

They were blessed to celebrate Pongal with them and make it a special day for them.

The Rotaract Club of SRM Easwari Engineering College is a prestigious club which has been active for the past 22 years.

The core objective of this club is to bring together like-minded individuals and work together towards the betterment of society in various aspects.
