A wonderful book of poems by Fr. Jose V Thomas

 “Poems to Ruminate” a collection of 100 poems, penned by Fr. Jose V Thomas reflects the journey of life and family relationship.

Fr. Jose V Thomas, priest of the Archdiocese of Madras-Mylapore during leisure hours, attempted to pen down a few poems on different topics.  Some friends happened to read a few of his creative poems and suggested to make them into a book form. This collection of poems is one such attempt. Fr.Jose V Thomas, a native of Kerala, living in Chennai for many years currently at St.Teresa’s Church, Nungambakkam, Chennai, had a flare for poems from his school days.  Some of his best poems penned from 2009, finds a place in this book published.

The poems namely, Amazing Qualities, A myth called love, Musing on mother’s day, Moving with the flow, Seize that opportune time, Twists of Life, Post Modern Youth, The love of the Lord, Ode to the valentines etc. are well written and will pull on your heartstrings and will leave you wanting more. The book also has spiritual poems and a few on Covid -19 pandemic too. Fr Jose has dedicated this book to his respect worthy parents, family members and well-wishers.
