Neville Endeavours Foundation collects Rs. 1.90 Crs., thru D2D Marathon for needy Children’s Cancer Treatment

Neville Jamshed Bilimoria, a renowned Philanthropist along with Mr. Harshad Reddy, Director- Operations, Group Oncology & International, handed over a cheque for Rs. 1.90 Crs., to Dr. Prathap C Reddy, Chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group on 20th February 2023. These funds were collected thru the 7th Edition of the now popular and very eagerly anticipated event in the Chennai Marathon Calendar – Dawn to Dusk and Dusk to Dawn (D2D Marathon), with about 7400 participants. These funds are for the treatment of cancer affected children at Apollo Cancer Foundation.

Neville has been spearheading the D2D Marathons right from 2012, having collected over Rs. 4.43 Crs., over the 7 editions for the singular purpose of Children’s Education and Healthcare.

Holder of the prestigious National record from the LIMCA Records for 12 hours of Running and Cycling (covering a total distance of 219.1 kms in 2018, bettering his own earlier records twice), Neville has also helped raise, as the Chairman of Round Table India – MCRT 94, a record mobilization of Rs. 2.25 Crs., (highest in the history of Round Table India in a single Calendar Year), for building 55 new Classrooms and 22 Toilet Blocks for the girl Children. He was also appointed as the Brand Ambassador of Round Table of India to promote the Project – Freedom Thru Education – in 2015.

Neville has an avid interest in Rowing, Marathon, Cycling and what have you! He holds the Super Randonneur title for the 13th consecutive year since 2011 having completed all series for 13 consecutive calendar years (Super Randonneur is one who completes all the series: 200 Km, 300 Km, 400 Km, 600 Km in a calendar year). He has completed 5 out of the 6 world major marathons – Berlin 2018, Tokyo 2019, London 2019, New York 2019 and Boston 2022.
