Kumararani Meena Muthiah College of Arts and Science ( Co-Ed ) ( CHETTINAD GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS ) ( Affiliated to the University of Madras & Reaccredited by NAAC ) Celebrated 20 Years of Success in the Field of Education.
Dr. ( Mrs ) Meena Muthiah, Secretary and Correspondent, Kumararani of Chettinad, presided over the function. Followed by lightning of Kuthuvilakku.
Guest of Honour included Dr. G. Viswanathan, Chancellor, VIT College, Dr. G. Thiruvasagam, Vice Chancellor, AMET University, Dr. Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson , Apollo Hospitals and Dr. P. David Jawahar, Registrar, University of Madras.
Principal Dr. P.T. Vijayashree presented the journey of KRMMC. A Souvenir was also released.
A Centre for Business Excellence was officially launched and installed by Dr. Mrs. Meena Muthiah, Secretary and Correspondent of the college. The Centre of Business Excellence is a knowledge hub and has partnered with South Indian Bank and has established a simulated bank inside the college premises. It provides practical exposure to students to acquire knowledge in Business and Managerial skills. The Objective of the College is to make the centre as a wonderful Academic point of visit in Chennai which would contribute practical knowledge in business skills to students of KRMMC and students from other Schools and Colleges.
The college has also collaborated with Finmark to provide practical exposure in Capital Market sector.
The Official function was followed by a Cultural Extravaganza, where the students and alumini exhibited talents.
