“Walk to Light” event organised by Indian Prostate Cancer Foundation an NGO working to prevent needless suffering due to prostate cancer. The organisation conducts awareness programs and free screening camps  to help in early detection of cancer.

September is prostate cancer awareness month and to create awareness Indian prostate cancer Foundation organized a walk from Gandhi statue to light house and illuminated the light house in blue in support of prostate cancer awareness. The lighting will be on September 25th and 26th. The walk was lead by Director Ahathiyan and supporters of the Foundation. About 250 students and volunteers from Angels of Marina participated in the walk from different city colleges.

Intention of the event is creating awareness that Prostate Cancer is cirable if detected early.
