Rotary Club of Chennai Gemini along with its sponsored clubs, Innerwheel Club of Chennai Gemini, Rotaract Club of East Coast and Interact Club of Leo Matriculation Higher Secondary School jointly conducted a fundraiser called FAMILY FUN FESTO – A fundraiser carnival for the families where there was absolute celebrations of togetherness, dance, songs, games etc., on Sunday, the 13th November 2016 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Leo Matriculation Higher Secondary School Auditorium, Annanagar West Extension, Chennai 600101.

The chief guests for the evening were the Directors of Leo Matriculation, Mr. S. Chittibabu and Mr. S. Bose and Innerwheel Past District Chairman, Mrs. Swarnalatha Jothikumar and the program started in time with all the presidents, Rotary Club President, Sujatha Ramesh Babu, Innerwheel President. Jyotsna Srinivas and Rotaract President, Goutham Raj called the meeting to order and there was non stop entertainment and fun for everyone. They jointly donated a bicycle to the Guild of Service Veppampattu as their project of the day and there was a dance by physically challenged children, Keerthi Varman and Raji and it was the highlight of the program. They were given some fund for education. Super Singer Junior, Ms. Anu and Sun TV program Producer Thrilok Raj stole the show with their soulful singing. There were lucky draw, American Auction, Housie, On the spot surprises, sumptious eateries, stalls for games and beautiful clothes and fashion jewellry. There were many dignitaries from the Rotary District like, the District Secretary, Rtn. Tamilselvan, Rtn. Dr. Shankaran, Rtn. Mythili Srinivas participated and and enjoyed the program.

The program was celebrated like a big family and the rotaractors took active participation and made the evening thoroughly enjoyable for one and all. The funds collected from the event will be utilized for various projects in projects like happy schools, Wash in Schools etc.,
