The latest buzz in Kollywood is that Vendhar Movies has acquired the Tamil Nadu distribution rights (except Coimbatore) of Lingaa for a whopping Rs 70 crore.

According to trade sources, this is a never before price in the history of Tamil cinema.

The film, directed by K S Ravikumar and produced by Rockline Entertainment, will be presented by Eros.

Music is by Oscar-Grammy winner A R Rahman, while Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty are the heroines.
