Veteran director S A Chandrasekaran, who is planning a coemback with Touring Talkies, has said the film is partly inspired by his own life.

“I am playing a 75-year-old youngster,” he laughs, adding; “There are some scenes which happened to me when I was young. The movie will be very interesting.”

Maestro Ilayaraja is scoring the music for Touring Talkies, which is based on two different stories. “Audience can watch two films with one ticket,” he says.

SAC further says his son and top star Vijay is not so happy with his decision to work at this age. “But I breathe cinema and can’t live with it. He (Vijay) will understand me when he reaches my age.”
