A NOSTALGIC HOME COMING – SHIMMER ALUMNI MEET SRM VALLIAMMAI ENGINEERING COLLEGE, KATTANKULATHUR – 2019.
Shimmer 2019, the Alumni meet organized by SRM Valliammai Engineering College, SRM Nagar, Kattankulathur, was truly a trip down the memory lane for all the old students of the college who had gathered joyously for the special occasion. Pleasant memories and gratifying thoughts were surely recreated in the minds of the Alumni who happily enriched their rapport with their friends.

Dr.T.P.Ganesan, Director – SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Pro V.C (Planning & Development), SRM Institute of Science and Technology, graced the occasion.
Dr.B.Chidhambara Rajan, Principal, SRM Valliammai Engineering College, in his presidential address greeted the Alumni and emphasized on the importance of education and the contribution of engineers to the society that they live in.
Dr.M. Murugan Vice – Principal in his address said that the Alumni are the ambassadors of the institution and that they must be able to create a win win situation for the college as well as for themselves.
A few of the former students fondly recollected their memories that were etched in their minds about their college. They shared their job experiences with their friends on this platform and gave a few valuable suggestions. The management and the staff of the college felt a great sense of satisfaction knowing about the success stories of their glorious students. The cultural team of the college set the stage on fire with their rocking performances. A few of the Alumni also gave a few cultural performances. The Alumni had the wonderful opportunity of freezing these special moments in group photographs with the staff members of their departments.
