In Association with few Transgender Organisation.

15th April 2015 Morning 9 am to 1 pm Blood Donation Camp held in Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Hospital  more than 200 members donated thier blood including 48 transgenders.

At 4 pm in 15th April 2015 on Muthurangam Steet, T.Nagar, Chennai Cultural events like Revolutionary songs, Dance, Thappattam, folk dance, Drama ” Kudiyirupu “.

Awards presented to  Achieved Transgenders and supporters of Transgenders.

1000s of Audiunce were attented the function. organisers welly planed and presented the best programme to the public.

Plenty of members from Tamil Nadu Murpokku Ezhuthalar Kalaingnargal Sangam & Transgender Organisation wre diven thier participation for the success for thie event.

Transgenders face serious discrimination in society for no fault of theirs and may blame biological reasons that make them suffer.

Hence, to change the mindset of the people about transgenders, about 15 to 20 short films portraying their sufferings, emotions and feelings, as well as their longing to being a part of society.

If the word ‘transgender’ is uttered, people remember only Koothandavar festival, but not the mental agony and bigotry they face.

The insights of her book were explained at the function in which many spoke about the necessity of providing them opportunities and removing discrimination.
