About VELS
Vels Group of Institutions had its’ origin in 1992 under the able leadership of Dr.Ishari K.Ganesh who established Vaels Educational Trust, a charitable, non-profitable organization in 1992 in the fond memory of his father Shri.Isari Velan.
Founded in the year 1992, today the group has over 20,000 students in 15 institutions offering secondary and higher education. The services in Higher Education rendered by Vels Group made it to achieve the status of Deemed to be University. The University today has 13 different schools, 38 departments offering more than 100 courses. Thus, Vels Group offers education from Pre-KG to Ph.D., We offer courses in areas such as Engineering and Technology, Dentistry, Para medicine, Arts & Science, Hotel Management, Maritime Studies, Management Studies, Law and Medicine (Telangana State).
Vels Group wanted to offer quality education and one more step in this direction is signing MoU with MDIS, Singapore. Vels Education Private Limited stands for globalizing the education and brings the global education partners in to the fold of Vels Group.
About MDIS
The Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), founded in 1956, is Singapore’s oldest not-for-profit professional institute for lifelong learning. MDIS has two main subsidiaries: Management Development Institute of Singapore Pte Ltd (MDIS Pte Ltd) to oversee its Singapore academic operations, and MDIS International Pte Ltd to further its globalisation strategy.

About the partnership
