Pradeep Ranganathan, as a college student, delivers an impressive performance as Dragon and Ragavan, showcasing his versatility in playing both roles. He effortlessly portrays the carefree attitude of a student who neglects his studies, hangs out with friends, demands money from them, and deceives his parents.

The character’s transformation, his decision to take shortcuts to get a job easily, the problems that arise from it, and the moments where he becomes disillusioned with his luxurious life, all reflect the flaws and immaturity of some young people today. Pradeep’s lively acting has brought these traits to life in a captivating way.

Mysskin, who plays the role of Mayilvahanan, the college principal, shines as the other hero of the film. From start to finish, he convincingly portrays the dignified principal who takes measures to guide the student on the right path, issuing challenges, witty remarks, threats, and efforts to mold him into a good student. Through his seasoned acting, Mysskin brings the character to life, breathing vitality into the film and sparkling as a pivotal character.

Anupama Parameswaran, who plays the role of a college student, former girlfriend, and lecturer, shines in both halves of the film. In the first half, she portrays a carefree and loving personality, while in the second half, she showcases a more mature and experienced performance.

After realizing the harsh realities of the world and parting ways with her former lover, she makes a concerted effort to help him succeed in his studies, demonstrating her growth and depth as a character.

Kayadu Lohar, who plays the role of Pallavi, the future wife, has made a beautiful appearance and contributed to a few scenes. George Mariyan, who plays Pradeep’s loving father, has portrayed a lovable and innocent character who dotes on his son, capturing the audience’s hearts.

The entire cast, including VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, K.S. Ravikumar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Indumathi & Thenappan, have added immense strength to the film.

The song lyrics by Vignesh Sivan, Ko Sesha, and Gana Apelow have been set to music by Leon James, resulting in a mesmerizing experience. The background score complements the film’s scenes perfectly.

Cinematographer Niketh Bommi camerawork has skillfully captured the distinct atmospheres of school, IT, and college campuses, showcasing his expertise in framing and angles. Pradeep E. Ragav’s editing adds strength to the screenplay, enhancing the overall narrative.

Director Ashwath Marimuthu has skillfully guided today’s younger generation by conveying valuable life lessons through this film. He emphasizes the importance of education, hard work, and honesty, while warning against the consequences of shortcuts and deception.

The movie teaches us how not to live college life, how any dishonest means can lead to trouble, and the value of education. It advises us to live peacefully, without deceiving others or taking shortcuts.
