JITO HOSTS NATIONAL JOB FAIR 2.0 IN CHENNAI

Chennai, January 7, 2026: Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) organised National Job Fair 2.0 at SRKK Agarwal Bhawan, Anna Nagar, with the objective of promoting youth employment and economic empowerment. The programme was held under the joint aegis of JITO Chennai Chapter, JITO Youth Wing and JITO Ladies Wing, with the Flossil Group of Companies extending principal support.

Shri Samay Singh Meena, IPS, DCP (Traffic), Tambaram, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he stated that such initiatives go beyond employment generation and play a vital role in enabling youth participation in nation-building. Shri Sitaram Goyal, President, Agarwal Sabha, was present as the Guest of Honour, while actress Upasana RC attended as the Special Guest.

The job fair witnessed participation from over 32 reputed companies representing sectors such as banking, IT, retail and manufacturing. More than 500 candidates registered and participated in the recruitment process. Following day-long interviews, several candidates received on-the-spot job offers, while many others were shortlisted for further rounds.

Mr.Ajay Nahar, Chairperson, JITO Chennai said, National Job Fair 2.0 seems to be focused on creating employment opportunities, especially for women and underprivileged groups. The event is likely organized to support the community in Chennai, aligning with the mission of service, education, and economic empowerment.

Organisers acknowledged the significant support extended by the Flossil Group of Companies, stating that its active involvement contributed substantially to the scale and smooth execution of the job fair.

Office bearers of JITO, including Rajesh Chandan, Akash Chauhan, Pankaj Kankaria, Ajay Nahar and CS Ashish Jain, Sunil Balawat along with members of JITO Chennai, Chennai Plus, Youth Wing and Ladies Wing, coordinated the event. The proceedings were effectively anchored by Pinky Mehta.

Members and volunteers of the JITO Youth and Ladies Wings, including Suresh Gundecha, Pankaj Kankaria, Pinky Bhandari, Adarsh Betala, Himanshu Jain, Sudarshan Bohra, Nitesh Lodha, Rishabh, Slok and Sharmila, rendered dedicated services and played a key role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the programme.

The organisers stated that the initiative reflected JITO’s continued commitment to service, knowledge and economic empowerment, while providing meaningful employment opportunities to the youth.
