“Mylanji” movie Produced by Dr.Arjunan under the banner of Ajay Arjun Productions, Music by Isaignani Ilayaraja, Directed by Ajayan Bala, Starring by Sriram karthick, Krisha kurup, Munishkanth, Singampuli & Many Others
Krisha kurup, who runs a bird park called ‘Mylanji’ in Ooty, is trying to escape an unwanted marriage. She falls in love with a tenant living in her house and decides to confess her feelings, but he leaves for Chennai. Meanwhile, Sriram karthick, a wildlife photographer, arrives in Ooty to capture a bird’s photo and befriends Krisha kurup. Their friendship blossoms into love, but just as Sriram is about to express his feelings, Krisha kurup reveals her love for the Chennai guy and asks Sriram to reunite them. Despite not having any contact information, Sriram agrees to help, but secretly nurtures his own feelings for Krisha kurup while pretending to search for her love interest.
Sriram eventually realizes he can’t suppress his feelings and decides to find Krisha kurup’s love interest, bringing him back to Ooty. Meanwhile, Krisha kurup realizes her feelings for Sriram are genuine, not just a passing infatuation. She tries to confess, but Sriram, unaware of her change of heart, leaves, heartbroken. Just then, the man Sriram found returns to Ooty, reveals everything to Krisha kurup’s family, and begins wedding preparations.
Will Sriram karthick and Krisha kurup’s love story find its way, despite their unspoken feelings? What about the Chennai guy, who arrives for the wedding, unaware of the love triangle? ‘Mylanji’ explores these questions, dripping with romantic tension.
Sriram karthick, who plays the lead role, has done an excellent job with the character assigned to him, bringing it to life with his impressive performance.
Krisha kurup, who plays the lead actress, brings a childlike innocence to her character, but her overall portrayal lacks depth, and her choices don’t quite fit the role. Despite being central to the story, she fails to leave a lasting impression on the audience.
The scenes with Munishkhanth and Singamuthu bring some comic relief. The supporting cast, including Senthi as the hero’s mother, the actress playing the heroine’s aunt, and Kalaiarasan Kannusamy as the uncle, add to the narrative and fit well into their roles.
The Cinematography by Chezhiyan is a major strength of the film. The lush greenery of Ooty makes for a beautiful backdrop, and Chezhiyan’s camera angles add to the aesthetic appeal. He’s particularly impressive in the romantic scenes, conveying unspoken emotions through his lens and creating a poetic atmosphere.
Ilaiyaraaja’s music is outstanding, effectively conveys the emotions of the lovers, creating a soothing melody that resonates with the audience. The background score is also pleasant.
The film’s Editor, Sreekar Prasad, has made a valiant effort to keep the audience engaged, focusing solely on the emotions and love within the characters, making the viewers travel with the film.
Ajayan Bala, who wrote and directed the film, has attempted to tell a love story with emotional depth. He effectively captures the hero’s unspoken love and the heroine’s feelings, presenting them with simplicity and aesthetics.
“Mylanji” Movie touches every audience hearts.
