Vijay and Mohanlal starrer ‘Jilla’ will ready to hit the screens tomorrow (January 10) but the situation doesn’t seems like, as a case being filed against the release of his ‘Jilla’. In a petition filed in the court, a producer has claimed that he had registered the title ‘Jilla’ with the Film and Television Producers Guild of South India in 2008 and has seeked a stay on the release of Vijay’s Jilla.

R Mahendran of Soumita Sri Arts has reportedly said that his company Soumita Sri Arts had dubbed the Telugu film ‘Bageeratha’, starring Prakash Raj and Shriya in the lead, as Jilla in Tamil. Fans of Vijay have been fuming with this latest development questioning the producer on social networking sites, that what was he doing till the last moment to file a complaint.
