Since Rajeev Kumar, who is the director of Sabaash Naidu, was unwell, Kamal Haasan stepped in to help out. For, the Ulaga Nayagan, who knows each and every aspact of filmmaking, was the director for the day/
He took to Twitter to post the same, “I am directing the dance as Rajeev is unwell. Hope he gets well soon.”
Sabaash Naidu is being shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously. In Hindi it is titled as Shabhash Kundu while Tamil and Telugu versions have the same title Sabaash Naidu.
Directed by T. K. Rajeev Kumar, it features Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles. Film’s Principal photography commenced in May 2016 at Los Angeles and is scheduled for a worldwide release on 1 December 2016.
Kamal Haasan will revive the popular character Balram Naidu, the humorous RAW operative from his 2008 blockbuster, Dasavatharam. The movie also stars his daughter Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishnan, Brahmanandam (Tamil & Telugu), Saurabh Shukla, Siddique and Anant Mahadevan. Music is scored by Isaignani Illaiyaraja, who is working with Kamal Haasan after years.
Kamal’s younger daughter Akshara has joined the team as an assistant director. It is reported that 90 per cent of the Sabaash Naidu will be shot in the United States of America.
