‘BIG DOO PAA DOO’ WILL BE A TALENT HUB FOR UPCOMING INDEPENDENT ARTISTS TO SHOWCASE THEIR UNIQUE MUSIC CREATIONS
Chennai, 21st June, 2016: Adding to its bouquet of unique content and an entertaining line-up of shows, 92.7 BIG FM, India’s largest and No.1 radio network, launched a music show, ‘BIG Doo Paa Doo’ in Chennai on the occasion of World Music Day. Hosted by highly acclaimed lyricist and dialogue writer, Mr. Madhan Karky, the show which will be a one stop destination for upcoming and independent artists, singers and musicians to showcase their talent will air every Saturday from 6PM to 9PM. Seen at his candid best at the press conference of the show held today, Mr. Madhan shared his experience about turning a radio show host for the first time.
‘BIG Doo Paa Doo’ will be a weekend treat for listeners and showcase interesting non-film music compositions spanning varied genres. The contemporary show also aims to reach out to the vast majority of youngsters following their love for Indie and other new-age music. Mr. Madhan Karky, known for his wittiness and casual banter will add to the show’s entertainment quotient and provide avid listeners with a perfect blend of distinctive, non-film music.
Commenting on the newly launched show, Mr. Madhan Karky said, “This is the first time I will be hosting a radio show and I am extremely excited about it. Mr. Madhan Karky is the son of legendary lyricist, Vairamuthu. An ace lyricist himself and a popular dialogue writer, he is currently working on movies like ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘Robot Version 2.0’. The lyricist turned RJ will now be seen providing listeners with a weekend doze of entertainment and never before heard musical compositions on 92.7 BIG FM’S ‘BIG Doo Paa Doo’.
