MHAA announces indefinite court boycott

mhaaThe Madras High Court Advocates Association (MHAA) on Monday announced that its members would indefinitely boycott court proceedings from Tuesday demanding unconditional total withdrawal of amendments to the statutory rules empowering courts to debar erring lawyers.

The decision was arrived at an extraordinary general body meeting of the association held on Monday. The meeting was presided over by vice-president of MHAA Gini Manuel.
