R. Puranthara, Second standard student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Harrington Road, (daughter of Singhara Chennai S. Ranganathan and Priya) staged her ‘Bharathanatiya Salangai Pooja’ at Vani Mahal on 30th April. The six & half year old enthralled the audience with her 90 minutes splurge of eloquence to awestruck all those present. She began her classical dance journey at the budding age of 3.5 yrs under the most revered Guru Srimathi Subhashree. A, the Director, Dance of India. The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest Ms. Jayanthi ALS Kannapan & Captain V.J. Puspha Kumar, who lauded the Baby.
